Set on the edge of the North York Moors National Park it offers more than the usual bed and breakfast. There is a large luxurious room with a balcony enhancing the views over the beautiful village of Bolty and beyond. There is a small kitchen in the room with a microwave 2 ring hob and fridge so you can cook your own evening meals if you want to or prepare lunches etc. There is also an eating area, easy chairs in the room and an ensuite bathroom. I only have the one room so indiviual attention is assured and you will enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. A resent visitor from Australia sums up their visit by their entry in the visitors book, 'We came for one night and stayed for four. It was perfect. We will be recommending it to all our friends' It is a very convenient location for exploring the North York moors, the Dales, Whitby, York and beyond. Thirsk is famous for its Herriot connection. There a many old abbeys, interesting houses, and other attractions nearby. We are short distance away from the Cleveland Way.

Families: An extra bed can be addd to accomodate a child and a second child can be accomodated on a Z bed. Children under 5 years are free, 5-11yrs £10 per night, 11- 16yrs £15 per night
