The award winning Somerville has a fantastic central Torquay location and offers high quality guest accommodation in a boutique hotel style. The Somerville is one of only two Five Star Gold Award establishments in town and is the most centrally located. In November it was voted "Best B&B and Guest Accommodation in the South West Tourism Excellence Award 2010 -11". With rooms ranging from compact standard rooms to spacious suites The Somerville has something to offer all visitors. The Somerville is an ideal place to stay for couples wanting quiet breaks away with a few touches of luxury as well as a great place for those on business wanting to escape the drab budget chains The Somerville is is only a five minute walk to Torquay harbour and beaches as well as to the town centre with their restaurants, shops and bars. We are one of the few centrally located establishments with a large private car park. We offer our guests free parking for the duration of their stay which means that guests can leave their cars behind and explore on foot or else use the hotel as a base from which to explore further afield. We offer a full hour for breakfast during the week and extend this at the weekend to provide our guests with a relaxing start to each day. For guests on business we are happy to accommodate earlier breakfast requests by prior arrangement. We aim to provide attentive but unobtrusive service and Endeavour to be as flexible and responsive as possible. We are happy to arrange early or late check ins providing that this is done by prior arrangement

Breakfast: Breakfast is served in the light and airy conservatory with its colonial style Lloyd Loom furniture. Overlooking the Torwood and Lincombes area of Torquay, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Riviera life. The Somerville's award winning breakfasts come from locally sourced produce including free range eggs and home baked pastries. There is a breakfast buffet of cereals, fruits and yoghurts, as well as a good selection of cooked options.

Rooms: Our Deluxe Rooms and suites are spacious and feel very luxurious. They feature luxury pocket sprung mattresses, goose down and feather duvets and pillows, luxury branded toiletries, locally sourced bottled mineral water, bathrobes, digital flat screen TV's, beverage trays, iron and ironing board, FREE wifi access, ipod docking station and digital radio and hairdryer. For the ultimate in luxury and space.

Parking: One of the only centrally located establishments with its own secure private car park for all guests to use.
