Prices at The Shepherds Cottage Ruddyglow Park Lochinver from £350 - £850 per week Our lovely traditional, stone built, cottage, which dates back to the early 1800’s is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your family or a group of friends. Set in its own garden with spectacular views of Loch Assynt to the front and Quinag to the back. Gaze out over the clear blue waters and the magnificent heather covered mountains, you might well see a deer, a badger or a pine martin and if you venture down to the shore you may even see the odd otter. Nearby are some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the country, awe inspiring views appear around every bend in the road but most of all it is the feeling of peace, nature, and beautiful untamed naturalness that one experiences in the highlands that makes this such a fantastic place to visit, again and again. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a small but fully fitted kitchen with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and separate utility room that has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The main sitting room has Sky satellite television DVD player, video, CD/radio/mp3 player and clock radio. There is wireless internet available in the bright and sunny front porch and the sitting room. The cottage has full electric storage heating and double glazing. There is a large bathroom with big bath and over head power shower and lots of lovely bath and shower products. The main bedroom is large and bright with the original tongue and groove panelling on the vaulted ceiling. It has a king-size bed and plenty of storage. The other downstairs bedroom can be made up as either a super king or a twin, also has the original tongue and groove walls but has the added advantage of having a real log fire. There is also a small upstairs bedroom with lovely elevated views and a double bed.

Pets: If you have a well behaved, clean dog then they are welcome to stay in the cottage.
