Voted “Scottish Restaurant with Rooms of the Year 2009”, and situated in four acres of riverside grounds, this converted tweed mill combines quality with simplicity and good food with a warm welcome. AA Three Rosette award winning dinners are served in contemporary surroundings and feature carefully prepared fresh, local, and seasonal produce. Chefs Becca Henderson and David Youngs’ deceptively straightforward style of cooking is underpinned by prime Scottish meats, local game, and the freshest of north and west coast seafood. The wine list has been voted by the AA Restaurant Guide as best in Scotland for 2006/07 and again for 2009/10. There are eight modern bedrooms, all with spacious en-suite bathrooms – and in half you can nod off to the sound of the bubbling river below. Late winter, spring and early summer are perfect seasons for visiting the Scottish highlands...great for snow sports, walking, bird-watching, outdoor activities, sight-seeing...or just relaxing.
