Prices at The Capstone Hotel and Restaurant Ilfracombe from £75 / 52.50 Peak/Off Set in Ilfacombe’s bustling harbour area, The Capstone offers hearty breakfasts and rooms with free Wi-Fi in a quirky, tall Victorian building. With the harbour quay close by and the lovely coastal footpath / bike trails running behind the building, the Capstone's prominent location has, since 1880, made it a favourite place for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers visiting stunning Lundy Island. The beautiful Exmoor National Park can be reached in a 15-minute drive. More recently art lovers, business travellers and weekend wedding guests are among it's customers as Damien Hirst’s Verity statue and Landmark Theatre are close by and its just a short walk to the Tunnels Beach & High Street. The restaurant/bar is open to non residents and trades to the season, offering locally caught fish specials on a menu inspired by Italy.

Breakfast: In the mornings the restaurant serves a traditional full English breakfast featuring the best of fresh local produce alongside other lighter organic options.

Rooms: Each of the ten rooms are individually styled and all have en suite bathrooms with either a full-size bath with overhead shower or a monsoon shower. All rooms feature a flat-screen LCD HD TV, tea/coffee facilities and hair-dryer and in-room ironing. Most rooms have modern DVD players and the original Victorian sash windows.

Parking: Two large car parks are nearby. We recommended Marine Drive which charges £3.10 for a 24 hour stay (Bank holiday August 2012 rate).
