Rest assured, you will always find a warm welcome at The Berkeley Guest House. Under the personal supervision of Mal and Colette Neill, guests can enjoy this small family-run, family-friendly licensed guesthouse. Ideally situated on the West Promenade with a fine panoramic view of Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Hills and some of the best sunsets in the UK, the Berkeley Guest House makes a superb base for exploring the Lake District as well as the city of Lancaster and Morecambe itself. Historic Lancaster is a short 10 minute drive away or quicker by train. Personal care and consideration is given to ensure the highest standard of hospitality and accommodation. Excellent home-cooking from local produce is the basis to the preparation of all meals, and the proprietors pride themselves on making your stay in Morecambe a memorable one. All twelve bedrooms are tastefully furnished with en-suite facilities, colour television and complimentary tea and coffee. Many of the rooms have splendid views overlooking beautiful Morecambe Bay. For your personal comfort at all times, the hotel is centrally heated throughout. The Berkeley Guest House features a separate television lounge for guests use, with a large bay window overlooking Morecambe bay or why not try a drink in our attractive licensed bar with its selection of beers and spirits. Alternatively, try the night entertainment of Morecambe - keys are provided to the bedroom and front door so guests have access to the hotel at all times. For our cyclist guests, we have secure storage facilities to store your bicycles in.

Breakfast: Breakfasts are cooked to order and we now source all our ingredients locally. Good selection of cereals and various brands of tea/coffee. During holiday season, fresh fruit and yoghurt is also available.

Rooms: Most rooms have now been modernised and decorated. All rooms have freeview televisions and beverage trays. Also all romm s are en-suite with showers.

Parking: Free on road parking directly outside with no restrictions.

Wifi: Free wi-fi available in all public areas and most rooms. Soon to be in all rooms.

Pets: Unfortunately due to bad allergies, we do not accept pets. Sorry.

Families: We welcome families and have 2 triple rooms and one quad room. Cots are available. Family rooms have dvd players built into the tv's. A wii is available in the bar where the kids can play games such as wii sports. We have a selection of beach toys for the kids to take across the road where they can play in the golden sands.

Disabled Facilities: Due to the structure of these Victorian buildings, disabled access is limited. For those guests with limited disability, we have a single room and a triple/double room on the ground floor and breakfast can be served in the guest lounge if required.
