We are 5 miles from Oxford with a good train service. We provide fresh local ingredients for breakfasts where possible, including home made bread and preserves. We have 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a small single room, sharing the family bathroom. Two rooms are wi-fi enabled and each has a television and facilities for making hot drinks. There are two pubs serving meals in the village, a village Hall shop and sports facilities nearby. Islip village is situated 5 miles north east of Oxford, 6 miles from Woodstock, between the A34 and M40, and at the junction of the River Ray, and the River Cherwell. Islip is 1 hour from Heathrow Airport.. The village is on the Oxfordshire Way footpath, the Oxfordshire Cycleway, the National Cycle network No 51, and is on the edge of Otmoor near the Otmoor R.S.P.B. Reserve. Great Western Trains run a regular service from Bicester to Oxford, calling at Islip. (Islip to Oxford takes 14 minutes, Oxford to London, 1 hour.)
