Self-contained accommodation with all the thoughtful extras. A friendly atmosphere and comfortable, clean rooms that see guests return again and again. Ideal for those on holiday, visiting family and friends or on business. Walkers, dogs and cyclists are all welcome. All rooms and apartments have en suites and mini-kitchens, comfortable chairs, free Wi-Fi, underfloor heating and heated towel rails - all designed to make your stay a comfortable one. Accommodation is available on a room only basis. Breakfast, if required, is served in the stunning Garden Room in the C18th farmhouse. Breakfasts include the handmade Ellesmere Sausage which, along with the pork pies, are made on the farm. Ideally located with a 3 minute walk to The Boathouse tearooms and restaurant and the Tourist Information Centre which are by The Mere. Lots of lovely walks in the area through woods, Gardens and along the Canal. All Ellesmere's shops, pubs and restaurants are an easy 1/2 mile walk.

Breakfast: Breakfast - if required because each room has self-catering facilities. Continental and farmhouse breakfast served in the C18th farmhouse. Homemade sausages, local eggs and butter. Cooked on the AGA and served in the stunning Garden Room or elegant dining room.

Rooms: All our rooms are self-contained each having its own private entrance. All the rooms have everything you need: comfy beds, alarm radios, en suite bath or shower rooms with heated towel rails and large fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, digital TV/DVD, comfy chairs and space to work, free wi-fi. Mini-kitchens in all rooms with fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. We try to think of everything to make your stay an enjoyable and comfortable one, from corkscrews to umbrellas to torches we have everything covered.

Parking: There is ample FREE parking next to the accommodation.

Wifi: We offer free WIFI to all our guests.

Pets: YES we accept dogs. We have dogs! For a one off fee of £5.00 which includes throws, dog towels and water bowls your dogs are welcome to join you. The Shippon has ground floor rooms with direct access into a walled garden and there are country walks from the doorstep. The Boathouse and other local pubs accept dogs. Lots of dog walking in the area, towpaths, Meres and country walks and footpaths.

Families: We have single, double, twin and family rooms and apartments. With 6 rooms and apartments altogether we take whole family parties whether for weddings and celebrations or family holidays. Books, toys and games are available for young and old. High chairs and cots available.

Disabled Facilities: The Shippon has ground floor rooms and No 2 The Shippon has a wet room. There is an additional bedroom which is linked to No 2 which is ideal for carers, friends or family. More information is available on our website
