Lake View is the ground floor of a large Victorian house, set within an old country estate called Lake Bank. The estate is spread over about five acres of shared grounds. The grounds are particularly quiet and beautiful and Lake View itself has unrivalled lake and mountain views. Situated at the Southern foot of Coniston Water, Lake Bank is a quiet and unspoilt corner of the South Lakes with direct access onto the fells and a short walk, 1 minute, from the Lake shore. It is a particularly attractive place from which to explore the Southern Lakeland fells. Lake access is convenient and provides opportunity to relax and watch the ever-changing views of the lake, or to simply walk along the beautiful shoreline.
