Enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay in one of our richly furnished rooms with beautiful antique furniture. Soak in a deep Victorian roll top bath or indulge yourself in our Art-Deco style shower room, “Basic Earth Botanicals” toiletries and soft white towels add to the experience. The house has been refurbished and tastefully decorated to match its Victorian heritage, whilst providing comfort and modern day facilities. Heulfre which translates as “Sunny Spot” (no guarantees!) is located in a picturesque valley surrounded by stunning and unspoilt landscapes of rolling hills moorland, quiet lakes and forests. Heulfre is an ideal base from which to explore Welsh market towns, historic buildings, castles and steam railways. Take advantage of the many varied walks and cycle trails that surround us including the Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Snowdonia National Park.

Breakfast: Our breakfasts are freshly cooked to order. We serve toast made from our own home-made bread and home-made preserves. Fruit, yoghurt and our own specialities. We use fresh local produce where possible.

Rooms: Warm comfortable each one with an individual style and decor. Four poster or antique beds make your stay a little bit special.
