Prices at Farringford Freshwater from £150.00 for a two night break We are a self catering holiday business with 28 newly refurbished 4 and 4*Gold rated two - and four - bedroom cottages. Our accomodation is available all year-round and is a popular writer's retreat during the off season months, when the fresh air, peace and excellent walks are available to another generation of writers and poets. Within the grounds there are a heated outdoor swimming pool, newly resurfaced hard tennis court and a challenging 9-hole par 3 golf course. Guests are welcome at our well regarded Modern British restaurant. Professional chef Justin Brown heads up the kitchen, drawing on his time with celebrity and Michelin-starred chefs. The restaurant offers a superb a la carte menu, eight-course tasting menus and a set-price lunch menu. This is the first Island restaurant to offer a chef's table experience where up to six guests can dine in the kitchen, served by the chefs themselves.

Breakfast: On arrival to one of our cottages, you will be warmly greeted by the smell of fresh bread, along with breakfast cereal and jam. Your fridge will already be stocked with fresh bacon, milk, local eggs and butter.

Rooms: Our 'Alfred' cottages are situated around what was the Tennyson family's 19th Century tennis court. They feature open-plan fitted kitchens and double-height sitting rooms, with one twin and one double en-suite bedroom, central heating and double glazing, wood burning stoves and their own private gardens. They are particularly secluded and situated in a wooded setting. Each is decorated in a comfortable and contempary style.

Parking: We offer free parking.

Wifi: Free WI-FI is available anywhere on site.

Pets: In some of our cottages we welcome well-behaved dogs. They and you will be pleased to find our warm water dedicated dog wash with organic dog shampoo when you return to Farringford after a day exploring.

Families: Here at the Farringford we boast an outdoor heated swimming pool and children's separate paddling pool, situated close to the tennis court and restaurant. A quick stroll over the green and you will find our childrens play area.
