This small inn finds itself in the truly beautiful Snowdonia village of Dolwyddelan near Betws-y-Coed in North Wales. With it's very own castle in the village, the views from the hotel are fantastic. Once an 18th Century coaching inn, and originally part of the Earl of Ancaster's Welsh Estate, this cosy inn offers a special and historic place to relax at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. All rooms are en-suite and we have four poster bedrooms for a little more luxury as well as standard doubles, a twin and two family suites. Free parking, free wifi, DVD players in all rooms. With an award winning restaurant (Conwy Rural Business Eating Out Award winners 2013), listed in the AA pub guide and members of the Times Eating Out Club, you'll be sure to enjoy great food! There is also a fascinating bar with a wood-burning stove. There is also a small bunkhouse for the traveller on a budget! If you are celebrating a special occasion, or just want a treat, you can pre-order a bottle of chilled champagne. This is the perfect location to eat well, sleep well, and take a little of Wales back home.

Breakfast: We offer a full Welsh breakfast (that is the same as an English breakfast but we are in Wales!) You also have a full selection of cereals, fruit juice and fresh fruit. Toast and tea/coffee/herb or fruit teas/Earl Grey tea/Peppermint tea/hot chocolate...

Rooms: All rooms are ensuite, some with baths as well as showers. Rooms 2 and 4 have amazing views over the Lledr River and valley. We have a family/group suite which takes up to 6 people in 3 rooms and another family suite ideal for families with small children. We have four-poster rooms for a little extra luxury.

Parking: We have a large free car park opposite the hotel.

Wifi: We offer free wifi.

Pets: We welcome well-behaved dogs on the understanding that they are never left unattended in the bedrooms. Dogs are welcome in the bar and bar-lounge where you can enjoy an evening meal with your dog. Families: We are family friendly and have two family suites. We offer a children's menu and have highchairs. We have a full selection of games for families to play in the bar lounge. We offer free DVDs for all the family. Children under two are free and we have cots and cot bedding available for hire for a small fee.
