This cosy 4 star cottage offers a superb base for visiting the stunning scenery of the Northwest Lake District,and the Solway coast.

Bush Cottage Cockermouth is a cosy 2 bedroomed cottage, in the peaceful village of Tallentire, near Cockermouth, on the North Western edge of the Lake District National Park. It has been refurbished to provide well appointed, modern and comfortable accommodation, although it retains some original features. It is a convenient base for exploring the Western lakes and fells, and the unspoilt Solway coast. Tallentire is only a couple of miles from the popular market town of Cockermouth, which has Wordsworth’s house, Jennings Brewery, galleries, specialist shops, restaurants and pubs. Keswick, Carlisle, Penrith and Whitehaven are all within easy reach.

Rooms: All rooms offer clean comfortable accommodation with modern appliances and fittings, although there are some original features. There is a woodburner in the cosy lounge, and all bedding, towels, fuel and power is included.

Parking: Parking is directly outside the cottage.

Families: A travel cot is provided free of charge.
