Prices at Brocking Farm Cottages Saffron Walden from £225 - £875 per week Welcome to Brocking Farm Cottages Saffron Walden we are situated in a rural location 1.5 miles from the village of Clavering, a small arable and sheep farm on the Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire border, overlooking the Stort valley in an “ Area of outstanding Natural Beauty”. The surrounding area is typical of the North Essex rolling country side with hedges, trees and fields growing mainly cereal crops. There is a rich mixture of wildlife. Deer, Bats, Badgers and Foxes are often seen,as are most of the native nesting birds. Lambs may be seen playing in the field at the rear of the cottages in the spring. Our small herd of Dexter Cattle graze the field at the rear of the cottages.We have two ponds for you to watch the newts, dragonflies and other pond life. The garden has a sitting out area, garden furniture and barbecue for our guests to relax with a glass of wine.
