The cottage overlooks open countryside in the beautiful village of Harome. It has newly refurbished and comfortable en-suite rooms with TV, and a spacious lounge that opens onto the cottage garden. Liz prides herself on her home-made breakfasts, which use local and free-range produce, including eggs from her own hens, and which has won her a ‘Visit England’ Breakfast Award. As well as her cooked breakfasts, favourites with guests include her freshly baked granary bread, fresh fruit salad and home-made muesli. The cottage is within walking distance of the famous Star Inn, which has many accolades, including a Michelin star. Harome is close to the picturesque market town of Helmsley, the Yorkshire Moors and a short drive from the coastal towns of Whitby, Scarborough and the historic city of York.
