Arduthie House is a magnificent 6-bedroom Victorian house in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Stonehaven with its wonderful attractions such as Dunnottar Castle the War Memorial the Tolbooth the Harbour and seafront promenade with places to eat and play and a scenic and challenging golf course to the north of the town. br / br / br / br / Set back from the road (Ann Street) Arduthie House offers large and comfortable rooms for the discerning traveller. We have 2 double rooms 2 twin rooms and a family room (sleeps 4) all with en-suite facilities. We also have a small single room with its own private bathroom along the corridor. On the first floor there is a wonderful guest lounge where guests can relax and read or chat to fellow travellers or play guitar (2 available) or play games (supplied) and generally unwind. br / br / br / br / Each day begins in the spacious and bright dining room where guests can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast of juices and cereals tea coffee and toast plus a Full Scottish (bacon egg sausage black pudding mushrooms hash browns beans - not for the faint hearted) or Continental (a selection of hams cheeses and fruits with a choice of warm breads) or Eggs Arduthie (smoked salmon with poached egg tomato spinach and a hollandaise sauce). br / br / br / br / Arduthie House is perfectly located close to the town square where guests can walk to the sea in 2-3 minutes and either turn right for the harbour or turn left for the recreation ground and the open air swimming pool both of which are an 8-10 minute walk from the house. From the house the more adventurous guests can make their way up the Black Hill via the Harbour to the War Memorial and then continue along the cliffs to Duntottar Castle - a walk of about 40 minutes. Stonehaven also offers easy access to Aberdeen (Duthie Park Winter Gardens Art Gallery Museums and plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities) and to Royal Deeside with its castles and distilleries and the Cairngorms.

Directions to Arduthie House Stonehaven

South - Road: As you enter Stonehaven from the South follow the road right passed the BP garage (on the left). Then follow the road round to the left. When you reach the traffic lights turn left (Evan Street). Continue up this road and turn second right (Ann Street). Arduthie House is set back from the road on the left about 100 metres along Ann Street. br/ br/ North - Road: As you enter Stonehaven cross over the bridge and follow the road round to the left. Very soon the road will fork - take the right fork (Barclay Street) and continue along this road until you see Charles Michie s pharmacist. Turn right immediately before Michie s (Margaret Street). At the top of Margaret Street turn right. Arduthie House is almost immediately on your left set back from the road. br/ br/ Station - Train: As you leave the Station make your way to the main road (aim for the Station Hotel). The main road is called Arduthie Road. Turn left on this road and follow it all the way down until it bears left. Follow the road to the left (Evan Street) and continue down that road towards the centre of town. Eventually one of the roads on the left is Ann Street. Walk along Ann Street for about 100m and Arduthie House is on the left set back from the road.
