 The Red Lion Inn offers a warm and welcoming country style hospitality. All of our rooms have been newly refurbished with comfort and convenience in mind. On the next floor down is a traditional pub with 5 Cask Marque awarded Real Ales a great selection of wines and spirits as well. Breakfast is just yummy and a great start to your day lunch and evening meals are pretty good too offering something different every night. Picnic baskets available to your tastes at prior arrangement as well. Through Winter we have our log fire roaring and the long Summer days are a delight in our large beer garden and you can often find a band playing on the stage on a Sunday afternoon or just enjoy our elevated view of the village and stunning country side. Jackson Bridge s location is such that only 5 minutes driving you can either be in Holmfirth town centre where you have the Picturedrome Last of the Summer Wine Tours café s and museums and more specialty shops than I can list here. Or you can be in a stunning picturesque country side locale breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the view. For all you outdoors people who enjoy a great walk or cycle you have probably already heard of the Holme Valley and Pennine region s trails on offer if not please see our website for some great links.
