 The seventy room Royal Esplanade Hotel is a listed building pleasantly situated facing the Solent in the centre of the attractive sea-side town of Ryde. The hotel underwent a programme of refurbishment in the winter of 2015/16 and is now re-open under new management. The Royal Esplanade offers guests a choice of four categories of bedrooms - all of which have en-suite facilities and have been recently refurbished. The Royal Esplanade offers overnight accommodation short stays as well as a number of attractive function rooms for corporate functions weddings and private celebrations and Harry s Bar Brasserie and Lounge are also open to non-residents. There is extensive public car parking available on the seafront immediately opposite the Hotel . Wightlink FastCat and Hovertravel offer Portsmouth to Ryde passenger only ferry services. WightLink offers a car ferry service to nearby Fishbourne from Portsmouth and Red Funnel offer a car ferry service from Southampton to Cowes. The Esplanade s main Bar and Restaurant provides an attractive décor and comfortable dining experience principally for resident guests and offers breakfast lunch and dinner service. The hotel Coffee bar is also open to non-residents. The newly refurbished Harry s Bar and Brasserie is open to residents and non-residents and offers a relaxed dining experience. The décor is classically styled - reminiscent of the golden age of Bogarde and Casablanca - complete with Kensian Palms. The Restaurant offers a classic Brasserie menu using fresh locally sourced ingredient cooked to perfection by our resident chefs. As well as offering a full range of spirits unusual ales and fine wines Harry s also has a full Cocktail Bar. The bar also has a separate Snug room - where you can relax after your meal.
