Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine/dryer fridge freezer microwave with matching bluebell crockery. br / br / br / br / The self-contained holiday cottage is next to the main house which together sits in just over two acres. It benefits from its own private garden patio furniture and BBQ bordered by tall fir trees and an apple orchard at the bottom. The dry stone wall is made from ancient flag stones we think from the remains of the Benedictine Abbey opposite. On the back of one the chisel marks of the original mason are clear to see. Do ask to have a look! br / br / br / br / Set in a protected Conservation Area the garden is visited by many types of birds: woodpeckers skylarks pheasants robins blue-tits and local pheasants. The bird song has been described as God s music it is so special!. Country Walks: rural countryside is a short walk with a public footpath opposite the pub going westwards on the Port Way for dreaming spires of Cambridge or take Wimpole Way eastwards to the bluebell wood. Transport: A cycle route along the St Neots Road down the Madingley Hill via Coton connects directly into Cambridge. br / br / Regular bus service: Citi 4 at the Hardwick Turn or the Whippet at the end of the drive. br / br / br / br / Throughout the county there is an abundance of historic houses each with beautiful gardens. Directions to Cam Cottage Cambridge

Cambridge - Road: West: From Madingley Road go straight up the Madingley Hill past the American War Cemetery & at the roundabout take 1st exit down the St Neots Road. See signs for Hardwick take the next left down Cambridge Road (past the Londis shop) continue past right hand bend. This is now Main Street & continue until next left bend just before St Mary s Church take immediate right in between the hedges. Up the private drive the cottage is on the far right.
