 The Kicking Dickey is a warm and friendly pub a home from home for its regulars and visitors alike. Situated on the edge of the charming town of Dunmow it is approximately 8 miles from Stansted Airport 13 miles from Chelmsford and 9 miles from Braintee Essex. br / br / br / br / We have three lovely self-contained rooms to let. Our rooms provide all the basic comforts for a satisfying rest including tea and coffee making facilities Freeview TV and en-suite showers. Accommodation is priced at £45 for a Single en-suite £55 for a Twin en-suite and £65 for a Family en-suite. Free Wifi is available in the bar area provided by The Cloud. br / br / br / br / Food is served daily between 12-3pm wednesday to saturday 6-8pm tuesdays 6-8.30pm wednesday to saturday and between 12-4pm on Bank Holidays. Sunday roasts and our full menu is served between 12-4pm. We serve traditional pub favourites such as fish and chips hunter s chicken steaks burgers and chilli con carne. We also offer regularly updated specials alongside the standard menu. br / br / br / br / We host quiz nights bingo evenings discos karaoke and family fun days throughout the year. br / br / br / br / To the side and rear of the pub we have a beer garden with a feature well which provides the perfect place to catch the sun or a bit of shade. br / br / br / br / There is plenty of parking available at the front of the building.
