The Station Hotel was built at the turn of the 20th Ccentury in Ashbourne and is an impressive mock Tudor building. The Tissington Trail is opposite the hotel. Alton Towers is 15 minutes away as is Alton Towers Chatsworth House Haddon Hall and Calke Abbey. Public transport: Buses to Ashbourne are available from Uttoxeter Stoke and Derby the bus station is just 2 minute walk from the hotel. Nb Ashbourne doesn't have a train station.
