from Newcastle Upon Tyne follow the A1058 (Tyne Tunnel signs). Follow the A1058 as far as it will go. The end of this road faces the sea turn left and continue along the coastal road towards Tynemouth and Whitley Bay. Turn left when you reach South Parade. The Ambassador Hotel is a few yards up on the right hand side
