It is perfectly located just 10-25 minutes from the tourist orientated towns of Battle Robertsbridge Rye Bodiam Tenterden Goudhurst and Tunbridge Wells and only 15 minutes from the seaside resorts of Hastings and Camber sands. The area is steeped in history and boasts an array of historic castle houses gardens and places of interest. The Medieval village of Robertsbridge itself is just a short 8 minute drive where we also have our luxury chic boutique style self catering apartments - Robertsbridge Retreat at Cornhill - but guests can come to Woodside BandB for breakfast at œ10 per adult and œ5 per child and also use the Health Suite and other facilities. Woodside is set in a beautiful tranquil setting in 10 acres of paddock and ancient bluebell woods an ideal place to stay in a luxurious and peaceful surrounding whilst treating it as a base for exploring and undertaking activities such as country and woodland walks visiting many tourist attractions cycling clay shooting and golf.Woodside is an exquisitely architectured bespoke designed residence built in the Gothic Victorian style which was completed in 2005. This magnificent property was featured in and depicted on the front cover of Self Build magazine and has been built with sumptuous comfortable relaxed luxury living and leisure in mind. It boasts large airy rooms with designer fittings throughout and includes a full Home Cinema with 9ft screen and a sumptuous private Health Suite for the use of our guests. We have created a lovely home that we are very happy to share with our friends and guests and we hope the atmosphere that we have created will make our guests long to return.

Directions to Woodside BB ROBERTSBRIDGE

HOW TO FIND USGenerally we are in the South East of England in East Sussex near the Kent border just off the A21 which runs from London to Hastings and 20 minutes from the Coast.We are 20 minutes drive from Hastings and 25 minutes from Tunbridge Wells and 1 hour from the M25.If you do not have a car and are coming by public transport the nearest main line station is Robertsbridge which is 8 minutes drive away. We would be more than happy to meet you at Robertsbridge and taxi you to Woodside and help run you around during your stay for a minimal charge.LOCAL DIRECTIONS FROM A21From Flimwell crossroads heading towards Hastings carry straight along the A21 through Hurst Green when you see the White Horse Pub on the right (recommended) take the turning diagonally opposite on the left towards Bodiam. Follow this lane until you get to the crossroads with The Curlew Pub (recommeded) on your left. Turn right and drive for about 3 minutes passing two narrow bridges and in the distance you will see an arch going over the road Woodside can be found 100 meters before the archway on the left hand side marked by a yellow and white fluorescent post and double wooden gates with gargoyles on the brick post tops - you will see the Woodside sign on a Tank Trap to the right of the gates.From Battle head towards the North end of the town (opposite end to the Abbey). At the roundabout at the top of the High Street take the diagonal right hand turn and follow the road until you meet the A21 at a large roundabout (Johns Cross Roundabout). Turn right towards Hastings and follow the road past Vine Hall School on the right take the next Left signed towards Rye and Cripps Corner. Follow the road to the cross roads with the White Hart (recommended) on your right. Turn right and you will come to a T Junction in 100 meters. Turn right and drive under the archway that goes over the road Woodside can be found 100 meters after the archway on the right hand side marked by a yellow and white fluorescent post and double wooden gates with gargoyles on the brick post tops - you will see the Woodside sign on a Tank Trap to the right of the gates.
