The Plough Inn is a traditional Suffolk country Inn conveniently located next to the main A12 at Wangford. Just two miles from the picturesque town of Southwold it offers everything you could want from a country inn. All accommodation is generously-sized and has en-suite bathrooms (again very roomy) with both bath and showers and is annexed from the restaurant across a courtyard giving peace and quiet yet easy access to all the hospitality an inn open from 11-11 is able to offer. Rated four stars for accommodation by the tourist board our rooms are of such high standard that staff are confidently able to say you're going to like this before opening the door and showing new arrivals around the rooms. Prices include breakfast. Dinner is available if required. The bar at the Wangford Plough Inn is a delightful mix of ancient and modern with a complete refurbishment of this listed building having been completed in 2005. A range of Adnams draught beer including Bitter Broadside Oyster Stout and Explorer is available all are gravity-fed. Guinness Carlsberg and Bitburger lagers and Aspalls Suffolk Cyder are also available together with an extensive range of wines and spirits. Meals can also be served in the bar.
