Steeped in history:The Mill house is set within 7 acres of woodland nestled deep in the leafy valley leading to the thundering surf and sandy shores of Trebarwith strand. Built in 1760 using Trebarwith slate quarried from the surrounding cliffs and operated as a working corn mill until the 1930's The Mill house oozes charm and character with slate floors beamed ceilings and roaring log fires.At the Bar you'll find a warm welcome award winning local ales and ciders fine wines and a locally sourced and freshly prepared bar menu which can be savoured inside or outside on our sun terrace. Live events are staged regularly featuring local musicians comedians and our special events like fright night on Halloween Bonfire night and New Years Eve are not to be missed.A cosy retreat:The hotel has eight elegant en suite bedrooms with all the facilities you would expect including Flat screen TV's and free wireless internet connection. Our staff will always do their utmost to accommodate your every request and we are happy to organise any extras to enhance your romantic retreat or special occasion. Our guest lounge offers a place to relax meet new friends and plan your adventures. A fine place to eat:A footbridge over the stream leads you to the riverside restaurant with panoramic views out over the stream and onto the valley offering a contemporary and spacious environment to enjoy the finest of Cornish produce. Menus are changed regularly to take full advantage of the seasonal produce available to us and our dedicated team aim to give you an experience beyond expectation drawing on elements of traditional Cornish cuisine modern British and world influences. A rugged coastline:Trebarwith provides an excellent base to explore Cornwall with a fantastic surfing beach only minutes away and access to the coastal path to explore the small coves inviting rock pools and immerse yourself in some of the finest Cornish scenery.The fun doesn't stop there with championship golf courses National trust properties world class attractions such as the Eden project Tate St Ives and the national maritime museum all just a short drive away. Directions to The Mill House Tintagel

By CarM5 to Exeter and then A30 to Launceston. 2 miles after Launceston take A395 and follow until reaching A39. Turn left onto A39 and after 1 mile turn right on B3314. Continue for 2 miles to crossroads and go straight over and then take first turning on right signposted to Tintagel. Follow road for 2 miles and take left turn for Trebarwith Strand.
