The Manor Inn has been the local pub in the Dartside village of Galmpton since the 19th Century but in recent years had become a nationally managed chain pub. Fed up with the corporate chilled food approach four locals rescued it looking to turn it back into the sort of place they would be happy to eat and drink in.We offer Luxury rooms (remember - we are the village inn so the ambience may not always be that of a graveyard) An excellent restaurant with a full range of locally sourced freshly prepared meals A real local pub locally run and responsive to the needs of the community Well kept beer to suit all tastes A decent wine list A venue for village celebrations company events and family get-togethers Situated on the South West Coastal Footpath close to Torbay the River Dart (local mooring and launching available) Greenway house and other National Trust Properties and the Dartmouth Steam Railway staion at Churston. There boats for hire nearby and the Churston Golf Club is just up the road.We have refurbished the bar dining areas and loos and completely re-built the former self-catering letting rooms and transformed them into four outstanding bedrooms all en-suite and each with its own character.Do come and visit us - have a look round have a chat enjoy the best kept beer in the area try our wines by the glass or bottle have a meal and stay the night followed by a traditional freshly cooked breakfast.

From Brixham or Dartmouth (by ferry) follow signs to Paignton turn left after the Churston Steam Railway Station down Greenway Road.From M5 Exeter follow signs to Torquay and turn left onto Torbay Ring Road (A3022) signposted Brixham and continue as below. From Plymouth follow signs to Totnes. From Totnes follow signs to Paignton and at traffic lights on Torbay Ring Road turn right to Brixham and continue as below. From Paignton Torquay or the Ring Road (A3022) follow signs to Brixham and turn right at Brown Manor Inn tourist sign onto Manor Vale Road.
