Originally built as an opulant out of town residence for a wealthy Victorian Glasgow wool merchant this country house hotel has been recently completely refurbished to reflect its Victorian heritage. The hotel enjoys stunning views of the lochside and the hills above Arrochar and has 6 dedicated 15 tonne moorings for those wishing to bring their yacht.We offer excellent quality light meals and specials in the Lounge Bar at Lunch and from 6.00 - 7.00 pm daily. In addtion our Fine Dining restaurant is open from from 7 - 9.00 pm.Knockderry House is set in its own mature grounds amidst glorious marine mountain scenery and yet is less than 20 minutes from Loch Lomond and 45 minutes from Glasgow Airport.The Hotel has a Rosetted restuarant and has also been award a 4 star rating by Visitscotland. Directions to Knockderry House Hotel Cove

Take the M8 from Glasgow passed Glasgow Airport and head for the Erskine Bridge. Cross Erskine Bridge and take the A82 towards Loch Lomond and Crianlariach. At the entrance to Loch Lomond Golf Course turn left onto the A817 signposted first to Garelochhead and then Coulport. On reaching Loch Long turn south along the lochside and the hotel is 2 miles beyond on the left.
