Chestnut Villa is a former coaching inn now offering comfortable en-suite bed and breakfast in Grasmere in the heart of the English Lake District. Each of our individually decorated rooms offers a fabulous view of the surrounding fells making this an ideal base from which to explore one of the world's great natural beauty spots. All food is freshly prepared on the premises and is locally sourced from local farms and suppliers wherever possible. Packed lunches are also available for your days out. We happily cater for special diets with a little prior notice to allow us to source the necessary ingredients.Now under new ownership for eighteen months we continue to work with energy and enthusiasm to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and we are proud of the excellent feedback gained both online and in our guest book. Chestnut Villa is located on the edge of the picturesque village of Grasmere and there are a variety of pubs and restaurants serving good food to be found within five minutes walk. We want you to get the very best out of your stay and will advise on what to do and where to go if ever we can. The Lake District has long been and continues to be one of the UK's most popular tourist draws. Whether you are a keen photographer walker literary enthusiast or are simply seeking a relaxing break away from it all you can be assured of a warm welcome and comfortable stay at Chestnut Villa. Doubles a twin and a family (1 x double 1 x single beds) room are available. The rooms are complete with tea and coffee making facilities new LCD TV's (some with integrated DVD players) hair dryers and toiletries. Guests are welcome to relax in the large lounge area where you can rest and enjoy the views of the surrounding fells. Low season and single occupancy rates are available. Directions to Chestnut Villa Grasmere

Chestnut Villa Grasmere is situatated just on the edge of Grasmere village on the A591 Keswick Road.As you approach Grasmere keep on the A591 at the mini roundabout. eg. take 2nd exit (1st exit takes you into the village). Continue for less than a mile. You will pass The Swan Hotel on your right and a lane to the left. Slow down as you pass through 30mph signs. Chestnut Villa Grasmere is just passed the second lane (Pye Lane) on your left - look for the last building on your left.There is enough space for one car per room at Chestnut Villa Grasmere otherwise it is possible to park on Pye Lane
