From Manchester and Leeds Airports Take M62 and exit at J24. 1.From M62 eastbound (from Manchester towards Leeds) exit at J24. At the end of the exit slip road is a roundabout. Take 1st left and follow the local traffic sign to Blackley. Continue with directions under number 2.1.Or from M62 westbound (from Leeds towards Manchester) exit at J24. At the roundabout take the 5th exit back towards the M62 but do not rejoin the motorway. Pass the motorway entrance and follow local traffic signs to Blackley. At the roundabout take the 1st exit. Continue with directions under number 2.Continue 1 mile downhill to crossroads.2. At the crossroads turn left towards Holywell Green and continue for approximately 1 mile passing the Rock Inn on the left hand bend then climb up hill to a junction.At the junction turn left then almost immediately turn left again down Shaw Lane. Continue to the bottom of Shaw Lane until you reach a set of electric Deer Park' gates and a cattle grid on the right. Drive up to the gates and enter your key code keep left along the drive until you see the Castle in front of you.By rail into Halifax or Huddersfield railway stations - Taxis take 15 to 20 minutes from each station to the Castle.
