Ballindalloch Castle - Ballindalloch castle the home of the Macpherson-Grants for 500 years is open to the public from Easter to the End of September. The castle has a fascinating history and the gardens in spring and summer are fantastic starting from the 1000s of daffodils around the grounds through rhodendrons and then the roses in summer. There are walks by the River Spey and a children's play area as well as a dog walking area. Excellent coffee and gift shop as well.

Glenlivet Crown Estate - Working farms, walking and cycling trails, forestry, wildlife. The Glenlivet Crown Estate based in Tomintoul provides free walking and cycling trails over the whole estate varying in length from 1 mile around Tomintoul to 15 or more miles over the hills and moors around Tomintoul. While on the paths there are wonderful opportunities to see wildlife. The ranger service at the Office in Tomintoul provides leaflets on the walks and cycle paths and in the summer runs events for children. There is an adventure playground close to the office.
Glenlivet Crown Estate
The Glenlivet Distillery - The famous malt whisky is made here, and visitors are welcome, and benefit from a free tour and tasting, from April - October. It is spectacular seeing the whisky making process from the raw grains till the finished product, via the 'stills', 'mash tuns' and huge barrel storage warehouses, topped off by a tasting.
There is also a shop selling Glenlivet goods,a small museum describing the history of the area and of whisky making here, and a cafe serving refreshments.
The Distillery is also on The Speyside Way - a marked walking Trail, which passes through stunning scenery, all overlooked by Ben Rinnes - the highest point in the area.
