Anchor Cottage is a traditional stone-built cottage, with sea views and large enclosed garden, on the beautiful, remote island of Sanday. Accommodation is for up to 7 (plus cot) in four bedrooms: one king-size, one double, one twin and one single. There is one bathroom and a separate toilet. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. The living room has an oil-fired Rayburn stove, TV and lounge chairs. The lounge is equipped with a comfortable 3-piece leather suite, TV and display cabinets. All bed linen and towels are supplied. There is a portable BBQ to cook your steaks/fish on after your day at the seaside. There are beautiful beaches within easy walking distance and the summer sunsets are magnificent, with long hours of daylight in summer. There are two hotels, which provide good food.
