Built around 1580 in the reign of Queen Elizabeth I the rock has welcomed guests to the Forest of Dean for over 400 years

The Rock B&B offers 4 star bed accommodation. Located at 600ft one the ridge between the Wye and Ruardean Valleys the garden valley view rooms, Breakfast room and hot tub overlook Coppett Hill, the Malvern Becons, The original route of Offas Dyke and English and the Site of a Norman Motte and Bailey Castle on the welsh border short forest walk away is the famous viewpoint of Symonds Yat Rock. Walks start only 30 paces away from the door and activities such as river cruises, horse riding, climbing, canoeing, Lama trekking and fishing are close by.

Breakfast: Traditional english breakfasts are served using local award winning ingredients. full Vegetarian breakfasts are also available using home made vegetarian sausage. Alternatives to a cooked breakfast are also available
