Beautiful AA 5 star Inn, set in the pretty village of Charlton Horethorne, on the Somerset/Dorset border.

The Kings Arms Country Pub & Hotel is situated 4 miles from both the historic Towns of Wincanton and Sherborne. It was completely refurbished and re-opened in March 2009 and now boasts 10 beautiful and uniquely designed bedrooms, each with it's own en-suite marble wet room. The restaurant provides the perfect venue for anything from a cosy dinner for two to a big celebration. The bar has a chic and contemporary feel to it, making it ideal if you just want to pop in for a quick pint and read the paper or for a more glitzy get together. We have a team of classically trained chefs that you are able to view creating their scrumptious dishes. All produce is sourced locally, and where possible, made on site, including our bread, pasta and ice creams. During the summer months you can partake in a game of croquet on the lawn or just bask in the sun on the terrace.

Breakfast: First class breakfast, with choice of juices, cereals, yogurt and fruits. Full cooked breakfast, all using locally sourced produce and free range farm eggs.

Rooms: All rooms are individually designed and named after Gem Stone. Tea and Coffee Making, LCD Televisions and DVD Players, Free WIFI Marble walk in wet rooms, rain showers, bath robes, large fluffy towels and luxury bath products.

Parking: Plenty of Free Car Parking available in private car park

Families: We welcome families to the Kings Arms and provide a children's menu, whilst still freshly cooked using seasonal, local produce. One family room available, double bedded with adjoining twin bedded room. Cots and z-beds available for other rooms at a small fee. High Chairs for dining available.

Disabled Facilities: The Kings Arms has full facilities for disabled people, including easy access to the hotel. The hotel is completely flat throughout, with wide corridors for wheelchair access if necessary. Our fully equipped disabled room is accessible via lift, and has wide opening doors to the wet room bathroom, seated shower, hand rails etc.
