The Avenue is situated in the leafy suburb of Liverpool, within easy reach by car/bus from the M62, John Lennon airport and 5mins Southpark railway station. There are several transport links to many areas of Merseyside as well as the city centre of Liverpool and The Albert Dock, which is just a 15 minute drive and a short bus ride away ( there is a direct bus stop 1 minute walk from The Avenue). We are also a pleasant short walk to Allerton road and the famous Penny Lane buzzing with wine bars, restaurants and shops. For those wishing to visit students of The University of Liverpool or Hope University, both halls of residence are just a 5 minute drive away.The Avenue has a real home from home atmosphere and after a good nights sleep we offer a hearty breakfast to start your day. You can also enjoy the use of free Wifi and free parking as well as a welcome beverage on arrival. The Avenue is situated in the heart land of The Beatles territory. With Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields just one mile away, and the childhood homes of Paul McCartney and John Lennon ( Forthlyn Road and Mendips) just half a mile away, residents of The Avenue are easily able to pay homage to the Fab Four. Liverpool is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, representing ‘supreme example of a commercial port at the time of Britain’s greatest global significance’.The impressive and historical waterfront LIverpool offers boasts a range of free Maritime galleries and a host of 'must-do' tours and excursions including the famous Ferry across The Mersey. Under the eye of the world famous Liverbirds, our expansive stretch of outstanding world heritage docks are also a must, The Albert Dock being the 'jewel in the crown'. With a range of bars, restaurants, The Tate Gallery and The Beatles museum, there is always plenty to do and see. Liverpool City Centre is a world hub of music and visitors are spoilt for choice-,The Walker Art Gallery, Matthew Street and the Cavern Club as well a real mix of bars, restaurants and clubs, catering for the needs and tastes of anyone of any age. For those wishing to pay Liverpool Football Club a visit, Anfield is just a 20 minute drive away.

Breakfast: Guest can expect to be greeted with a choice of cereals, pastries and a hearty Full English Breakfast. We also cater for vegetarians.

Rooms: Our rooms are clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. You will find fresh towels on arrival as well as free tea and coffee facilities an iron and ironing board and TV and DVD player in every room. Check in time is usually 1pm and check out by 11am but we are flexible in the times to meet your needs. We do ask that you try to give 24 hours notice of your approximate check in time. Cancellations must be received 48 hours before. Payment may be made by cash or cheques. IMPORTANT *Please note a SINGLE person occupancy supplement applies to all rooms. *

Parking: Guests may park for free throughout the course of their stay. There is plenty of off-street parking as well as a gated drive way which guests may park on.

Wifi: Free Wifi available to all guests at The Avenue.

Families: The Avenue has 2 beautiful double bedrooms, ' The Garden Room' and the 'The Field View' ( en suite) , as well as 1 family room - 'The Loft" containing one double bed and a single bed, and en suite facilities-ideal for families.
