This Georgian house dates to pre 1760 and has an extroadinary history. Decorated and furnished in a style that "wows" our guests

Located close to the Roman city of Bath, Wells, Longleat and Bristol…to name but a few local destinations and attractions. Riverside Lodge, in tranquil Cam Valley, is a beautiful Georgian house with period features throughout. The house also has modern twists that would be expected in a first class bed and breakfast. The rooms are individually designed and offer flat screen TV’s, refreshment trays and fresh fruits and free mineral waters.Each room has internet connection. Breakfast is served in the panelled dining room or on sunny, warm days in the totally secluded gardens. Our guests say our breakfasts are “to die for” (not literally) We offer you suggestions for trips, restaurants and if you want snippets of history about the area – that too.

Breakfast: Our English breakfast is freshly cooked to order. For guests who find that too filling, we also offer a real continental or Scandinavian breakfast

Rooms: Each room is tastefully decorated, offering tea and coffee making facilities, together with fresh fruits, and mineral waters. Our guests say they have the best nights sleep on our luxury mattresses, with the best quality duvets and pillows

Parking: There is private parking which is of course free in our courtyard

Wifi: All rooms have free internet connection.

Pets: We have two springers of our own and they like to keep the place for them selves. Any guests who are not happy with dogs need not worry, we will keep them away

Families: We have two lovely springer spanials who's idea of heaven is too be cuddled and have balls thrown for them. Our secluded garden provides a safe place to play
