Rack View is a Victorian former dairy farmhouse in a riverside village close to the Devon and Somerset border. The house has splendid views accross the river Culm towards the Blackdown Hills and Culnstock Beacon.It is an ideal base for exploring Exmoor, Dartmoor and the lovely beaches and coastlines of Devon,Somerset and Dorset. There are numerous countryside walks on the doorstep and the award winning local pub ,renowned for its good food, beer and wine is a short walk away.There is a takeaway restaurant 2 miles away in the next village. Taunton and Exeter are close by and there are many local places of interest eg. Hestercombe Gardens,Dunster Castle,Forde Abby,Bicton Park,Slimbridge Wetlands Centre,Ferne Animal Sanctuary to name but a few. A double room with a comfy king sized bed has far reaching views and a sunny family room with double and twin beds has plenty of wardrobe space. Both rooms have hot drinks making facilities and TV ,iron and hairdryer if required Breakfasts are prepared using local free range eggs and locally produced meat. Children of all ages are welcome and dogs are welcome but not in the bedrooms.
