The Panorama is a comfortable, family run guest house where we aim to make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

With stunning views of Mount’s Bay and The Lizard Peninsula, the newly refurbished Panorama Guest House Penzance is an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall. The Panorama is at the very top of Chywoone Hill, which accounts for the stunning views from a couple of the bedrooms, the Guest Lounge and the Dining Room. Land's End is a 20-minute drive away, and St Ives, Marazion and the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno are within easy reach by car or bus. We are one of the very few guest houses in the area that has a large car park. There are local walks that allow for views of the striking coastline. Buses stop outside the guest house. For those guests arriving by 'plane or train or for those who feel rather daunted by the climb back up our hill, we offer lifts in our Land Rover Defender!

Breakfast: Our breakfast menu offers a wide choice of freshly cooked, traditional English dishes, including the legendary Cornish Hog's Pudding, as well as a more continental stlye breakfast. Fresh fruit, seeds and Greek yoghurt are always on offer and, if it hasn't all been eaten, homemade orange marmelade is a must for your toast. We also cater for specific diets on request.

Rooms: Rooms are compact, very well equipped and are freshly decorated with new furniture, comfortable beds, fresh flowers and chocolates. All rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities, hairdryers and flat-screen TVs with Freeview. All rooms have an en suite shower room with complimentary toiletries, cotton buds, flannels, cotton wool pads and a choice of liquid soap or bar soap.

Parking: We have a large on site car park where guests are welcome to park. There is no charge for this facility, unless you are travelling to the Isles of Scilly and choose to leave your car with us when there is a charge of £3.50 per day, to include lifts to and from either the heliport or the ferry.

Wifi: Free WIFI is available in most areas of the guest house and guests also have access to a printer.

Pets: Well behaved dogs are always welcome and have full use of our large garden. There is a local beach that is dog friendly all year round and is fantastic choice for long walks. There is usually a charge of £5.00 per night for this service.

Families: We welcome well behaved children of all ages. Our Family Suite caters for a family of up to two adults and three children. It comprises of a double room, a large shower room and a children's room that with a seaside themed decoration. It has toys and books and a radio/CD player, as well as its own television. In our comfortable Guest Lounge we provide board games, playing cards, books and magazines and a large screen TV and DVD player with a wide range of DVDs to entertain all members of the family either in the evening or on one of our rare wet days.

Disabled Facilities: Although we are not wheelchair friendly, we do provide facilities for those who have restricted mobility, with a ground floor bedroom that has a large shower room, shower with grab rail and the choice of having breakfast served in your room if the stairs to the first floor Dining Room prove to be a problem.
