Hazels Farm B&B is a small farm based bed & breakfast close to Chester, Ellesmere Port, Capenhurst, Wirral and the borders of North Wales

The Hazels Farm is located 5 miles north of the Roman city of Chester on the A540, Parkgate Road. Close to the end of the M56, M53 and A55 We have a 4 star rating from Quality in Tourism. Hazels Farm is the ideal base to explore many of the local attractions including Chester, its history, including Roman walls, remains, largest amphitheatre in the UK, shopping including unique Tudor shopping rows, and night life, Chester Zoo, The Blue Planet Aquarium, and The Ellesmere Port Boat Museum. Other areas of interest are Chester Race Course, which as well as there usual regular race meetings, hosts international polo, horse, beer and food events and Chester Rocks. We are well located for visitors to Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village, Leahurst Veterinary Hospital and Ness Gardens. Wales is only a mile away, and you can be out into the hills and lakes of North Wales, or the Welsh Coast within half an hour. For people interested in sport, there are several golf clubs and fishing establishments in the area. Walking, cycling and horse riding on the beaches of the Wirral, the bridle and cycle paths of the Wirral Way and in North Wales, which is a short drive away. The local football club is Chester City, but Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and Manchester United’s grounds, can all be reached within an hour, together with Old Trafford Cricket ground for the occasional international game. Although we are situated in a small rural village, we are only 75m from the Yacht Public House, which serves food 7 days a week, and there are several other pubs / food outlets within a few miles. We are a registered small holding and keep Dexter Cattle, Wiltshire Horn Sheep, a horse and hens. Visitors are welcome to collect the eggs, and talk to our farm animals.
