Goldberry Cottage B&B is based just outside Arrochar in Ardgartan, Argyll & Bute, which is at the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossach N

Goldberry Cottage B&B is dramatically situated at the foot of the world famous Ben Arthur, better known as "The Cobbler", and we have stunning uninterrupted views over Loch Long. We are located in Ardgartan, Arrochar, which is at the heart of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Scotland's First National Park. The area is renowned for its dramatic natural scenic beauty, and yet we are only one hour's drive from Glasgow and 45 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport. Loch Long is a favourite place for diving, fishing and canoeing and there is easy access to the loch and beach directly across from Goldberry Cottage B&B. The beach leads on to a stretch of water known to the diving community as "Conger Alley". There are lots of interesting things to see and do in the area including visiting Inverary Jail and Inverary Castle or take a cruise on Loch Lomond, which is only 5 minutes away. The Argyll Forest is on our doorstep which boasts a great selection of climbing and hill walking routes and also gives access to the Arrochar Alps where there are a variety of Munros to be found. There are also many mountain biking routes to suit the beginner and the more adventurous.

Breakfast: We offer several choices of breakfast, from a full hearty Scottish breakfast cooked to order, to a light breakfast of cereal and croissant with jam and butter, and we will do our very best to accommodate any special dietary requirements. We normally serve breakfast between 8am and 9am, but if this is not suitable we will try, if possible, to serve your breakfast at a more convenient time. Breakfast is served in our conservatory which has panoramic views over Loch Long and the Ardgartan penninsula

Rooms: Our rooms have recently been refurbished. We have 1 King size bed, which can also be used as a twin, with shower en-suite. This room has stunning uninterrupted views over Loch Long. We also have a double room with shower en-suite, which has views over woodland. Both rooms have well stocked hospitality trays, hypo-allergenic bedding, hairdryer. Our guests also have their own private entrance so they can come and go as they please.

Parking: There is ample parking for our guests at Goldberry Cottage B&B

Wifi: We offer all our guests FREE WIFI

Pets: Regrettably, we cannot accept any pets.

Families: All our guests will be met with a warm and friendly welcome. We want our guests to enjoy staying with us and we will try our very best to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. We also offer collection from the Arrochar and Tarbet train station. This can be arranged at the time of booking. Unfortunately, we cannot cater for children under 14 years old.
