From the moment you arrive at the Colonial Hotel Blackpool, whether as old friends or new, a warm welcome is extended. Ideally situated opposite the beach, the Colonial is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding attractions such as the famous Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle complex and the South Pier. We have a night porter on duty so there is no need for late keys for those who wish to sample the vibrant nightlife. We have our own on site parking with space for approximately 25 cars, however this is a static car park and we work on first come, first served basis. TO SLEEP Bedrooms within the Colonial comprise of double, single, twin and family accommodation with 29 rooms containing en-suite faculties and 11 standard rooms, some with fabulous sea views, Group bookings are welcome and can provide cots if required. All our rooms are equipped with complimentary refreshments of tea and coffee and colour televisions. All sea view, en-suite rooms have a TV/DVD player. Hair dryers and ironing facilities are available and the hotel is central heated throughout for your comfort and we have a lift to all floors. TO DRINK Absorb the lively atmosphere in our Cabaret Lounge, holding nightly entertainment during the high season. Our fully stocked licensed bar offers an ample selection of beverages from simple soft drinks to fine wines or if you wish to relax after a long adventurous day, take a seat in our comfortable sun lounge. Or challenge someone to a game of pool in our games room. We offer a whole host of holidays, whether it be a midweek break, a weekend escape or a week long holiday with discounts for children. We do recommend that holiday insurance is taken out for peace of mind. Open all year round, we offer fabulous packages to celebrate the festivities of Christmas and excitement of seeing in the New Year with mouth watering banquets. Rest assured, the Colonial will make your holiday one to remember. TO DINE At the Colonial we pride ourselves on our delicious standard of home cooking. From a hearty Full English to our Harlequin Restaurant, which in high season is open to all. Vegetarians and other special dietary needs can be catered for.
