Prices at Carr Taylor Vineyards Hastings from £5.50 This is a family run vineyard which operates from an idyllic 37 acres in Hastings. David Carr Taylor is Chairman, his wife Linda is a Director and their son Alex is winemaker. Our wines have won over 150 major awards and further history can be found on our website. One of the aspects of our wine production here that we are very proud of is that we are carbon neutral. Because we grow our own grapes, harvest 40 or more tonnes entirely by hand and are able to use our own spring water for production, we produce very little carbon dioxide. Our current emissions are absorbed by the expanse of vines themselves. This year we hope to move to solar power for the site and this will make us, uniquely we believe, a carbon negative wine producer. We are open every day of the year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. You may explore the vineyard for as little as £1.50 per person. We also run guided tours and tutored wine tastings for groups of 10 or more at £6.00 per head. We can also cater light lunches such as luxury pate and cheese, crisp salad, crusty bread and relish with wine at just £7.00 per head in addition. We offer visiting coach parties (by appointment) a short tour and tea/coffee and cake and a sit-down wine-tasting for an incredible £3.00 !
