 Opened May 2015 by new owners Robert and Ann Marie Glan Y Gro Bed and Breakfast is uniquely situated on the shore of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) and offers guests a place to find rest peace and tranquillity in totally beautiful surroundings. The house is set within approx 4.5acres of mostly woodland that is bisected by the quaint narrow gauge steam railway. With Bala town only 1.5miles away you are only 5minutes away from essential amenities shops pubs Indian and Chinese take-aways pizzaria and a handful of cafes. Not only is Glan Y Gro an ideal base for those wanting to take it easy away from the hustle and bustle but also as a base for those looking for an active get away - walking cycling horse riding and water sports are all extremely popular and the National White Water Centre is only about 5 miles away. Glan y Gro is situated in the Snowdonia National Park with stunning scenery and part of the area is within an SSSI.
