Situated in the delightful conservation village of Ashprington three miles South of the market town of Totnes The Durant Arms established in 1725 is a country inn and a family run free-house with three en-suite guest bedrooms br / br / br / br / Since December 2013 The Durant Arms has been owned and run by The Woollacott family & is a proper village pub. We serve a selection of real ales ciders & wines with hearty home-cooked food using fresh ingredients from local suppliers. Log-burners ensure a warm welcome to you on chilly days come in with your muddy boots dogs and bikes (cycle rack outside). Our new bar was opened in March 2014 and second-phase improvements to the end dining room with a new double-sided log burner were completed February 2015 br / br / br / br / We have three comfortable guest rooms that are accessed by stairs from a private guest entrance breakfasts are cooked to order br / br / All rooms have Freeview TV coffee & tea making facilities & guest toiletries towels and a hairdryer provided. Dartmoor National Park is about 30 minutes drive away making us an ideal base to explore the area. Sharpham vineyard is just 15 min walk away & makes us an ideal place to stay or have lunch if you book a vineyard tour.
