History Lodge park walled garden was built in 1777 to provide the Irish Palladian House with flowers, fruit and vegetables, and produce is still grown for the house today. Restoration was carried out in 1948 and again in 1980. Plants of Note The garden is divided into several rooms, look out for the white garden with central wellhead; The peony borders and small lawn, the double herbaceous borders, the circular rosarie in the orchard and the veg plots where you are sure to pick up many great tips about growing your own!
