We aim to provide quiet, comfortable accommodation from which you can fully enjoy this fantastic county. A non-corporate, home-from-home!

Quiet, comfortable, friendly ensuite accommodation in a unique early Regency period town-house. 2 minute walk from the town centre and 10 minute walk from rail/bus/coach station. Ideal base to visit Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan [6 miles from us], Truro, Clay Museum, south coast, etc, etc, etc! Guests have their own private entrance accessed via a walled courtyard at the rear of the house. Traditional breakfasts served in the elegant dining room overlooking the Gover Valley. We use quality ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. Private off-road parking; pets welcome [but organise it first] children catered for. Advice freely given, if requested!

Breakfast: We offer a full English cooked breakfast using locally sourced products where possible. Eggs, bacon sausages are all "free-range". Bread is home baked using organic flour. Jams are home made. If you want a lighter breakfast, or require specialist foods, let us know, we can usually help.

Rooms: Each of out 3 letting rooms [named after thir original functions] are ensuite. All have: Freeview digital TV and video; tea/coffee making facilities; clock radio; hair-dryer; glasses, china mugs, wine-glasses; central heating; etc,etc...

Parking: Free, private, off-road parking at the front of the house.

Wifi: Free WIFI. We give you the access code if you need to use it.

Pets: We welcome dogs with well behaved owners [old joke, sorry.] We have a fully enclosed, gated courtyard so dogs can be left off the lead. We have our own dog and cat. They love the guests, but generally remain indifferent to their pets! We have never had a problem. We ask that we are given prior notice if you'd like to bring your dog. When here, our rule is that that dogs are not left unattended in the guest rooms. PS We had a parrot guest once; never again, sorry!

Families: The Nursery [and it was obviously used for that when first built circa 1819] is the largest rom in thehouse! It has 2 single beds, a double bed and we can put up a cot if needed: and there's still lots of room! The Nursery is also popular with friends sharing. We can offer a reduction for yunger guests sharing this room.

Disabled Facilities: Our house is located on a slope and access to both front and back is via a flight of steps. This means wheelchair access is almost impossible. However, the front flight of steps is short and shallow and has never really been a problem. Over the years we have welcomed blind/partially sighted guests [with their guide-dogs] who have had no problems at all. If you have concerns, just enquire.
