Rockstone Cottage is situated at Colwell Bay, Freshwater in the beautiful West Wight.

Rockstone Cottage Freshwater built around 1790, is a charming cottage reputedly built as the officers mess in the Napoleonic wars. Now a guest house with a delightful enclosed garden we are situated just minutes from the coastal path and the clean sandy beach of Colwell Bay. We offer bed and breakfast in a quiet, friendly, relaxing and smoke-free atmosphere for adults only. All our well equipped rooms are en-suite and are named after local places. Our pretty garden with it's vivid Robina tree provides guests with a place to sit and relax. The day starts with our delicious breakfast using quality local produce where possible. Situated just two miles from the ferry at Yarmouth we have our own off-road parking. There is a bus route and a range of places to eat near by, or you can go into the lovely small harbour town of Yarmouth where you will be presented with plenty of choice. We welcome walkers and cyclists and have a four star rating with Silver Award from Visit England.

Breakfast: Our three course breakfasts include local produce and we offer a selection of teas and homemade jams.

Rooms: Our rooms are comfortable and well equipped and our guest folder is packed with information. We can provide you with walking routes too.

Parking: Off-road parking is available at the front of the house. We also have storage for bicycles.

Wifi: Free WIFI is available to guests.
