A MUSEUM located in two stone Georgian buildings, built between 1840 & 1842 as the Governor’s House and Gatehouse of a jail complex for North Tipperary. Learn about the history of these unique buildings and step back in time to experience old rural Ireland. Visitors can also follow in the footsteps of the condemned prisoners!
The Museum also houses an art gallery which holds rotating art, craft and photographic exhibitions.
