We are in the centre of this busy Lakeland village. Our aim at Monties is to provide clean,comfortable and affordable accommodation.

Monties Bed and Breakfast is situated in the beautiful and popular village of Bowness-on-Windermere, a few minutes walk from the shores of Englands largest natural lake - Windermere. At Monties we offer affordable accommodation for couples and families, together with a fantastic breakfast. We are always happy to welcome new guests as well as the returning ones. There is a wide selection of restaurants and pubs to choose from of an evening and plenty to keep you occupied during the day, whether walking, sailing, cycling or just taking in the scenery from the car, we are ideally located as a base for you to explore the Lake District.

Breakfast: We offer traditional english breakfast but also have lighter options available.

Rooms: Our rooms are clean and prettily decorated with our family rooms spacious.

Parking: Due to our central location, parking is never guaranteed however the few spaces we do have available to us are on a first come basis.

Wifi: Free Wifi access available, please ask.

Families: We have two family rooms available.

Disabled Facilities: Due to our location and the house being on three levels, it is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
