Farview Holiday Cottage is a charming holiday cottage offering self-catering accommodation to holidaymakers from all over the world Surrounded by some of Scotland’s most beautiful countryside, this 150-year old cottage – on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Blairgowrie – has been upgraded to suit the discerning holidaymaker and yet retains its quaint character. Farview holiday cottage – with its secluded gardens and quality furnishings provides an ideal base for holidaymakers of all ages and tastes. Former guests, ranging from elderly couples and young families to golfers and honeymooners, have commented that the cottage is surprisingly well equipped with a very cosy and homely feel – even in winter. Within a short drive of Farview you are sure to find something of interest be it cultural, historical, gastronomic or sports-related. Farview is well-equipped with enclosed garden, bbq and private parking. There are 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, kitchen/ diner and bathroom. There is also an outhouse for storage of golf clubs and skis. Fishing, golf, history, nature, shopping - all close-by with local inn being a 2-min walk. For all ages and tastes. If you’re looking for history, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace and the Meigle Pictish Stones are not to be missed. The area is also famous for golfing, fishing, hiking, skiing and many other outdoor sports. Glenshee, the River Ericht, the Cateran Trail, five freshwater lochs and Dunkeld are all close-by. For shopping, try Rait antique village or stroll down to the souvenir shops by Blairgowrie’s Wellmeadow. Private, off-road parking Rent includes cleaning, linen and generous fuel allowance.
