Situated in the heart of Devon. It is an ideal base for exploring the rugged uplands of Dartmoor & Exmoor or the beaches & coves of the North or south Devon coasts, all within easy driving distance. Or you may wish to relax and unwind in the garden. The accommodation is a unique combination of all the luxuries of Bed and Breakfast, with an independent apartment. Set in the Devonshire countryside, just outside the village of Yeoford, 4 miles from Dartmoor National Park and 12 miles from the cathedral city of Exeter. A lounge with kitchen and dining areas, 32" LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player, radio/CD, full size fridge, microwave cooker, kettle, tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Hall with stairs to bedroom, mahogany sleigh bed with pocket sprung mattress and a spacious bathroom. Opening off the lounge area is a large raised deck with hardwood furniture and parasol, overlooking 1.5 acre woodland garden, which is packed with a wide variety of plants for year round interest. The apartment also has the benefit of free Wi-Fi Internet access. Breakfast is chosen from a comprehensive menu, to include local sausages, bacon, eggs for the traditional breakfast, or choose alternatives such as Smoked Haddock with Poached Eggs, Smoked Salmon or Kipper Fillets with Scrambled Egg, all served with our own freshly baked wholemeal or white bread. Or for a lighter alternative you could try our fresh fruit salad, served with Greek yoghurt. The apartment is an ideal retreat for those seeking privacy and seclusion, with the benefits of serviced accommodation. You will have your own key to come and go as you wish. Yeoford station is within half a mile (picturesque Tarka line), where you can take the train to Exeter & Exmouth in one direction, or Barnstaple in the other direction, passing through a patchwork of fields and wooded river valleys, should you wish to leave your car behind for the day. We have our local village pub/restaurant within easy walking distance, or a choice of other pubs or restaurants, within a few miles. There is plenty of off road parking (behind closed gates at night).

Breakfast: Gourmet breakfast selected from our extensive menu to include, selection of fruit juice cereals,porridge, fresh fruit salad, followed by full English with local sausages, home grown tomatoes (in season). Alternative choices including smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, smoked haddock with poached eggs, 3 egg omelette (plain or various fillings, kipper fillets with scrambled eggs, all served with fresh home baked bread. Fresh filter coffee and a selection of teas.

Rooms: Very private detached accommodation away from the main house. Only two guests at any one time. Your own exclusive raised decking area with parasol and hardwood furniture. Cater for yourselves in the kitchen equipped with microwave, fridge, toaster, etc. saving you the cost of eating out every night!

Parking: Free off road parking, behind closed gates at night.
